As a Brand Ambassador Marketing Specialist, you will play a key role in the development and execution of our company's marketing initiatives. You will work closely with the brand ambassadors, buying and sales team to promote our products, generate leads, build brand awareness and contribute to the growth of the business. You will report to the Sales and Marketing Director.
Planning and execution of marketing campaigns: You will contribute to the development of marketing plans and their implementation.
We import over 25 brands for the Benelux and France. We sell to professionals, so the work takes place in a B2B and multi-brand environment.
We have to relay the marketing created by our brands. You will work closely with the marketing teams of the parent companies and will be able to translate global actions into local actions. You will understand the local market context and know the appropriate communication channels.
The creative aspect of marketing (creation of visuals, slogans and content) is limited. The role here is mainly one of coordination with the marketing entities at our brands' head offices (with negotiation of budgets) and one of planning for all product launches, shop openings, campaigns to highlight ranges and/or brands, launch of brand(s) in our territory, promotional actions, etc....
You will ensure that we have all the visual and editorial material we need to carry out this task.
- Communication: You will plan and implement the company's communications, both at B2B level and for internal and B2C communications.
B2B: B2B marketing communications aim to reach our professional customers in the cycling world. It focuses on the long term, relationships and added value of the product.
Our B2B communication channels include our B2B site; combining B2B communication resources (homepage, blog, etc.) and optimising the way our brands are presented in B2B terms (brand pages, range segmentation, etc.), our social networks, trade shows, corporate events, targeted PR, sales presentations and specialist online platforms (content articles).
Internal communication: Internal communication aims to share brand-related information (news, arrivals, collaborations and sponsorships, etc.) and all the practical elements of internal operations that improve cohesion and productivity with the various internal teams

B2C: B2C marketing communications aim to reach our consumers. It focuses on brand awareness/visibility, consumer experience, creativity and visual appeal.
B2C communication channels focus more on consumer advertising, social media (via our resellers), influencer marketing, media campaigns, physical shops, cycling-related sporting events, e-commerce websites, etc. (brand pages, content articles).
- Contribute to the development of client portfolios: You will help develop localisation programmes to attract potential new customers. This may include the creation of point-of-sale displays, sales materials (catalogues, flyers, product sheets, etc.), campaigns or any other initiative designed to stimulate interest in our products and services.
- Working with internal teams: You will work closely with the sales, brand ambassador, buying and communications teams to ensure that our marketing efforts are aligned with the company's overall objectives. You will participate in regular meetings to share information, discuss ongoing projects and coordinate activities.
- A degree in marketing, communications or a related field,
- Previous experience in a marketing or communications role is preferred,
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
- Excellent interpersonal skills to liaise with parent company marketing teams,
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools such as social media, email marketing and web analytics,
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team,
- Ability to manage several projects simultaneously and meet deadlines,
- Initiative and passion for marketing,
- Knowledge of the cycling sector,
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) and good knowledge of Dutch.
