As an Assistant Buyer, you will play a crucial role in supporting purchasing and procurement activities.

You will work closely with the Purchasing Manager and other members of the Brand Ambassador team to ensure a steady supply of high quality products to meet our customers' needs.

  • Assist the Purchasing Manager and Brand Ambassadors in analysing market trends, consumer preferences and competitor activities to guide purchasing decisions;

  • Prepare and maintain dashboards to identify and analyse resellers' needs, product performance, range choices, sales and stock monitoring;

  • Manage and maintain product databases (product specifications, pricing and supplier information, reseller pricing, etc.);

  • Assist in the creation and management of purchase orders, ensuring that they are processed in a timely and accurate manner;

  • Analyse customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and recommend appropriate actions;

  • Work with brand ambassadors and the marketing team to develop effective product launch strategies and promotional activities;

  • Contribute to product performance reporting and identify areas for growth;

  • Keep abreast of industry trends, new product developments and emerging technologies in the soft mobility sector.


  • You have a postgraduate degree (or equivalent through experience) in business management, marketing, supply chain management or a related field (preferred) ;

  • You will have proven experience in a buyer or procurement role, preferably in the retail sector;

  • You have strong analytical skills and are able to interpret market data and trends;

  • You are comfortable using IT tools such as the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel;

  • You have a good command of English in order to be able to converse with suppliers;

  • You are detail-oriented and have excellent organisational and time management skills;

  • You are able to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities;

  • Knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices;

  • A passion for cycling and an understanding of bicycle accessories is a plus ;

  • Occasional travel is no problem (supplier visits and trade shows).
